Berwick Shipyard, 1970The long range recovery vessel Seagull can be seen on the slip ready for launching. This picture was taken from the deck of the sister vessel, Sea Otter. The building visible in the background (now demolished), was originally built as an electricity generating plant. At the time that this photograph was taken it was occupied by the South of Scotland Electricty Board and used as a storage facility. Photo © Iain Havery Copyright © 2007-2023All Rights Reserved
